Cork County Council Beach Lifeguard Team Are Gearing Up For The 2020 Bathing Season
39 full time lifeguards will patrol the Cork coast this summer
They will be on duty in Youghal, Garryvoe, Fountainstown, Inchydoney, Owenahincha, The Warren, Garrylucas, Garretstown, Tragumna and Barleycove Beaches.
The Beach Lifeguard's motto this year is 'Safe on the Sand and in the Sea', and they are promoting a Swim and Go policy this year to avoid large gatherings on the County's beaches.
