Cork County Council Confirm Waterloo Junction Will Remain Closed Until 28th Of September

The junction on the N20 Cork to Limerick road is currently undergoing resurfacing works and is closed to all traffic.
Two American tourists were killed at the junction in September last year, while another American couple were seriously injured following an almost identical crash in April this year.
Residents of the communities of Waterloo and Whitechurch have expressed anger and frustration at proposals to close the junction and are calling for the Council and TII to restore safe access for the local community.
