Cork County Council Has Been Granted €500,000 To Mark 475km Of Cycling Routes
Eurovelo Cycling Routes run along the Atlantic Coast from Norway to Portugal and pass through eleven Irish counties
The latest funding means the entire Irish route from Donegal to Wexford will be fully signposted.
The route is described as the Wild Atlantic Way for cyclists and runs mainly along the coast, using quieter roads that direct cyclists away from busier areas.
