Cork County Council Has Renewed Its Appeal For Householders To Conserve Water Supplies
The local authority says small amounts of rain forecast over the next few days will not be enough to improve drought conditions
They say they will continue to maintain water supplies through careful management and targeted leak detection and repair
A water tanker has been sent to Goleen village after changes in the source water caused water discolouration in the area.
The reservoir supplying the village is due to be cleaned today and tankered water will be pumped into it to maintain supply.
