Cork County Council Instructed To Review How Site Worth €3.8 Million Sold For €440,000

Cork County Council has been instructed to review how it disposes of land after a site worth €3.8 million was sold for €440,000
The local authority sold the 4.78 acre site at Ballinacubby in Kinsale to Cluid Housing Association in 2018.
The Irish Examiner reports the sale was criticised by the Local Government Audit Service which said the Council should provide Councillors with detailed information such as valuations before deciding to sell land.
Clúid is developing 40 social housing units on the site at a cost of €9.7 million
