Councillors have gathered in County Hall today to vote on the budget which it's expected will have a focus on houing with thousands on the waiting list.

It follows the approval of Cork City Council's budget where councillors in City Hall agreed on a €160 million budget for next year - that's an increase of €7.6 million on 2017.

There'll be no increase in rates, property tax or car parking costs in the city in 2018.
