A Cork couple have rejected the Taoiseach's apology after their six week old baby was left waiting on a trolley for over 11 hours.
Enda Kenny issued the apology yesterday after Daniel Long spoke out on the Neil Prendeville Show about the incident which was raised in the Dáil.
The couple brought their daughter Orlaith to the emergency department at Cork University Hospital on Sunday night as she was vomitting and showing signs of deyhradtion.
She didn't get a bed for 11 hours and it's understood the hospital have launched an investigation after her parents complained.
It comes after the A&E nurses prepare to stage stoppages on December 15th in protest at the overcrowding crisis in emegency departments.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Daniel says baby Orlaith is doing much better now but he is also furious about the time his baby was discharged:
