Cork employer hits out at lack of accommodation Leeside

The comments come from one of the city's largest employers Voxpro.
The lack of accommodation in Cork is leading to one of the city's largest employers being forced to place their overseas staff in hostels.
The owner of Voxpro says he will have to examine his future expansion plans, given the serious shortage of rental housing available for employees in Cork and Dublin.
Last year, Taoiseach Enda Kenny hailed Voxpro as "a true Irish success story" but the firm is now warning that the housing shortgae is threatening our economic recovery and a housing strategy needs to be urgently agreed.
Voxpro, which was founded by Dan and Linda Kiely in Cork, employs 970 staff at locations in Cork and Dublin and plans to expand to more than 3,000 employees.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Dan Kiely says the lack of rental properties is causing problems for people coming to Cork to stay and work.
