Cork families seek advice on secure housing

An increasing number of Cork families are seeking advice on securing housing. That's according to Focus Ireland who are calling on the Government to raise the rent allowance cap and review the availability of housing in Ireland. It's expected the housing crisis will dominate Cabinet this morning as a number of charities have criticised the coalition for not seeing the urgency of families being put up in unsuitable accommodation. It comes as recent figures show that six new people are now becoming homeless every day in Ireland.
