Cork Family Run Businesses Honoured in City Hall
Four generational family run businesses in Cork were honoured at an event at City Hall last night.
TW Murray on Patrick Street and the Ideal Pet Shop on North Main Street were presented with the retail award in the Lord Mayor's Generational Family Business Awards
Crowley's Opticians on the Grand Parade, which has been in business in the city since 1916, took the professional award and Cronins Coaches, which are celebrating their 60th anniversary this year, were also honoured last night
The awards, which are supported by Cork's RedFM, recognise the long established family businesses in Cork that have contributed to the fabric of the local community
