Cork filmmakers nominated for two MTV VMA's
It's for their work on Hozier's breakthrough hit 'Take Me To Church'.
Cork film makers Brendan Canty and Conal Thompson have been nominated for two MTV Video Makers Awards for their work with Hozier.
The video of the Wicklow singers breakthrough song, 'Take Me To Church' was shot in Ballincollig and is nominated in the Best Rock Video category, and Best Direction category.
Their company 'Feel Good Lost' made the video before Hozier took the music industry by storm, and the video racked up over 16 million plays on YouTube.
Speaking to RedFM News Brendan Canty says they hadn't anticipated the success.
