Cork fishermen to hold demonstration

Cork fishermen are to hold a demonstration next week as their frustrations with the Government boil over.

Fishermen have organised a flotilla to begin at Roches Point at 7am next Wednesday morning.

They will make their way up to the river to Horgans Quay where they expected to arrive at 9am.

The Echo reports that once they arrive in the city they will walk with their families to the Taoiseach's office in Turners Cross to hand deliver a letter outlining the plight of the industry.
