Cork GAA fans slam allocation system after missing out on tickets
Cork GAA fans are up in arms this morning after hundreds queued for hours at Supervalu/Centra stores across the city and county to try and secure tickets for Sunday's Munster Hurling Final. Some fans began queuing at 6am this morning after the Munster Council announced it was releasing a public ticket allocation for the last major fixture at Paric ui Caoimh ahead of the re-vamp.. It's understood that up to 2,000 tickets were released for fans to purchase today through the shops and online however the demand was so high the GAA ticket system froze for a time.. The system was quickly back up and running but callers to the Neil Prendeville show were irate that the allocation to the individual stores was so small This Cork fan told Neil he was queueing for four hours and he believes the situation amounts to false advertising: Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio
