Cork Garda returned to trial on over 200 charges
A Cork member of An Garda Siochana has been returned for trial on over 200 charges including a number of counts of corruption as well as counts of theft and deception.
The 46-year-old was this morning back before Cork District Court where he was charged with a further three offences to add to the 212 offences that he was charged with on January 3rd.
John O'Halloran is who was based at Barrack Street Garda Station where he worked as a community garda is facing over 200 charges including counts of theft, deception, attempted deception and corruption relating to sums ranging from less than £100 to over €5,000 over a five year period between 2009 and 2014.
