Cork Gardai Appeal For Help In Indentifying Man's Body

Up to 50 gardai are now investigating the death of a man ,who's body was found in an apartment complex in the city. Gardai believe the man in his 60's was homeless and are appealing for help in establishing his identity. According to the Irish Examiner, the man is believed to be Irish and had been living in Cork for a number of years. It's understood he was formerly a resident of the Cork Simon community complex. A post mortem revealed that he had been assaulted prior to his death which is now being treated as an unlawful killing.
