Cork Gardai Investigate Violent Attack In The City
Two people are in a serious condition at Cork University hospital - after they were attacked during an aggravated burglary in the city overnight. At around twenty to three this morning, three men, armed with weapons, burst into a house at Monastery Hill, off Blarney Street. They attacked all four people in the house - leaving two people in their 20s seriously injured. Gardaí arrested two of the three intruders as they tried to escape through a window.
