Cork Gardai Probe Armed Burglary
Gardai in Glanmire are hunting 3 men who tied up a woman in her 50's, during an armed burglary in Carrignavar last night. The incident occurred at a house in Dromboy South at around 9.30pm. Gardai have launched an investigation into the armed and violent burglary. Three men entered the house and tied up the sole occupant, a woman in her late 50s. All three males were wearing balaclavas and gloves, and one was armed with a rifle. A sum of cash was taken and the woman was uninjured but shaken.
