Jackie's six year old daugther Katie had her card withdrawn despite suffering from Down Syndrome, juvenile arthritis and a heart condition as she exceeded the financial limit .. Katie is on the long term illness scheme but her Mum says it doesn't cover all her medication or hospital visits as she also needs occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Jackie says she can spend up to 750 euro annually on her daughters treatments and she is calling for a change in the law so her daughters medical card can be re-instated Click on PLAY button to hear audio
