Cork GP warns against medicinal cannabis being the new cure all

A Cork GP has warned of the risks of seeing medicinal cannabis as a cure all.

Dr Nick Flynn from Hollyhill has called for more research into the medicinal cannabis debate, as a recent medical report claims that there is inadequate research and evidence of the effectiveness of THC based medicines.

It comes as the Government considers a legislative change to allow a compassionate access programme for people with certain medical conditions.
