Cork Harbour Alliance for a Safe Environment Wait On Ringaskiddy Incinerator Decision

Cork Harbour Alliance for a Safe Environment say they are adopting a wait and see approach as a decision on the proposed incinerator for Ringaskiddy may be delivered later today.

CHASE are strongly opposed to the application by Indaver and have been fighting against the construction of a €160 million incinerator in the Lower Harbour for years.

A decision on the currrent application, which was lodged in January 2016 has been deferred numerous times and a decision is expected today.

Linda Fitzpatrick of CHASE told RedFM News that they would be very disappointed if An Bord Pleanala ruled against their objections.
