Cork hit by power outages

Thousands of homes and business across Cork are without power this lunchtime... The ESB repair crews are currently working on up to 10 faults across the city and county affecting customers.. In Cloonlough in Mitchelstown nearly 1400 people are without power, with a further 900 in Bandon also hit by power outages Power is also out in Carrigaline, Macroom, Kanturk, Charleville and Whitechurch Over 10-thousand homes across the country are without power because of the high winds. Bevin Cody of ESB Networks says that number could rise throughout the day
