Cork hospital leads the way in navigating challenges surrounding visitors to the hospital

Management at the South Infirmary hospital has developed a system to allow patients in the hospital to have visitors by using a new tech solution to manage appointments.
The system has also alleviated the paperwork volumes for frontline staff in the hospital who were under pressure managing visitor volumes as well as obtaining details from every visitor to the hospital.
Speaking to RedFM News CEO of the South Infirmary Helen Donovan says they felt it was important to make sure vulnerable patients weren't isolated from their family and this system has allowed them to do that:
