Cork Hotel Owner Says Some Businesses Will Benefit More Than Others As Restrictions Ease

He believes that government support will be needed beyond June 30th
Accommodation providers in coastal settings are expected to experience a huge boost but those in urban settings say they're not as confident due to the lack of planned events in towns and cities.
It comes as popular tourist locations have experienced a huge increaese in staycation enquiries since the planned easing of restrictions was announced last week.
Speaking to RedFM News, Michael Magner, the owner of Vienna Woods Country House Hotel says Government supports will be needed to ensure a level playing field:
"The more urban solutions are going to have a more difficult challenge, and you can see why with the lack of events, with the lack of attractions in the city. People will want to go to the coastal areas but we know, governments are aware of this. We know the government have given the commitment that any support they provide won't just fall and stop by June 30th. There won't be any cliff edge, but it's about putting together a package of supports, a plan to ensure all businesses can get through this."
