Cork Hotel Prices Rise By Up To 400% For Ed Sheeran Concerts
Hotels are facing a backlash over hiked prices for accommodation on the dates of the 2018 Ed Sheeran gigs which were announced yesterday.
The singer-songwriter announced plans for a series of concerts across the country yesterday including two here in Cork on May 4th and May 5th.
The price comparison of a room between May 3rd and 4th is more than double in many hotels however hoteliers claim price hikes are linked to the number of rooms left to sell and not any event in particular.
