Cork Hotels Are Reporting Increase In Bookings For The Summer

A new industry survey conducted by the Irish Hotels Federation says that bookings in the southwest are above the national average

The IHF say people are planning their staycations already, in the hope that the government will allow hotels to reopen in June.

The federation says 23% of hotel rooms are booked for July across the country.

However, that number rises to 35 % for Cork and Kerry.

Tourism employs over 25,000 people in the city and county.
