Cork Housing Action Group to assess homeless needs

Home Sweet Home Cork has not ruled out a similar action like that undertaken in Apollo House.

This week the group staged a protest outside the City Hall in solidarity with the homeless campaigners who took over the NAMA owned vacant building in Dublin before Christmas.

They say they are assessing the needs of Homeless people in Cork before taking any further action.

The group have not ruled out occupying one of the many vacant properties in Cork city, but say they will take everything into consideration before doing so.
