Cork immigrant support centre calls for direct provision reform.

A Cork based immigrant support centre is calling on the government to use the current refugee crisis as an opportunity to reform the direct provision system in Ireland.
NASC say they welcome the government's commitment to accept 4,000 refugees into the country but they are concerned that it could lead to a two tiered system.
The government has pledged the system of direct provision will not be used to accommodate the refugees however they've expressed concern about the 4,000 already living in direct provision in Ireland - one in five of whom have been in the system for more than seven years.
Speaking to RedFM News, NASC's Jennifer de Wan says the government could use this situation to improve the lives of all refugees:
