Cork is gearing up for a summer outdoors

Dozens of public toilets are being installed at beaches ahead of the bank holiday weekend
There's been a broad welcome to the news that dozens of public toilets are being installed at beaches across Cork for the summer months
Cork County Council is to install up to 16 portaloos at Crosshaven, Myrtleville, Church Bay, Fountainstown, Roberts Cove, Kilnagleary and Roberts Bridge and at the People's Park in Carrigaline ahead of the Bank Holidauy weekend
In the city new supervised toilets are to open at North Main Street shopping centre and at City Hall's Civic Offices.
Street cleaning crews will also be working from 7am to 10pm.
Speaking to RedFM News in the past few minutes Crosshaven based Cllr Audrey Buckley says the portaloos will be in place until September
