Cork Is Not Receiving Its Fair Share Of Funding For Major Infrastructure Projects

That's according to the Construction Industry Federation who are holding a conference in the city today to discuss development in the southern region.
The meeting follows the re-tendering of the long awaited upgrade to the Dunkettle Interchange, after TII and contractors Sisk failed to agree on costs for the second phase of works.
CIF say a lack of investment and development in the southern region is a threat to growth and say 75% of their members are not confident that infrastructure projects will materialise in their region.
