Cork Judge Criticises Actions Of Groups Trying To Expose Child Predators

The Echo reports that Judge Con O'Leary says groups with evidence of anyone with a predatory interest in children should hand it over to Gardaí immediately
Judge O'Leary said it was vital that groups hand evidence to Gardaí rather than gratifying their egos by seeking out the person themselves.
He made the comments to a witness who used to be a member of one of these groups in Cork who was giving evidence against a man yesterday.
Judge O'Leary said he was aware that some groups are live-streaming visits to the homes of people they suspect of being child predators and said he was also aware that some of the people approached were innocent of any wrong-doing.
