Cork MABS expresses concern over number of repossessions Leeside

Up to 50 repossession orders are heard every week at Cork Circuit Court.
That's according to Cork MABS who say the figures are worrying, and are reminding home owners that they can offer them free, independent and expert advice to anyone who is at risk of losing their homes.
The money advice bureau have also raised concerns about the low level of engagement by mortgage holders with the court, with only 20% of those facing repossession turning up for their court date.
Speaking to RedFM News Margaret O'Neill from Cork MABS says it is extremely important to show up for reposession hearings and they can offer a court mentoring service to anyone in need;
