A Cork man has been honoured for his time as a First World War pilot.
A ceremony was held yesterday in Dublin to mark Edward Mannock's deployment as a a member of the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Air Force
He died in action in 1918, when his aircraft was shot down over France.
Edward Mannock was honoured at Glasnevin Cemetery as the most highly decorated fighter pilot of the First World War
