Cork Mother Speaks About Son's Involvement In Hit & Run

Aisling Higgin's son, Zac, is in a critical but stable condition at Temple Street Children's Hospital
A Cork mother whose three year old son was involved in a hit and run incident in the city this week has spoken about his recovery as he continues treatment in Temple Street Children's Hospital
Two and a half year old Zac Higgins suffered serious injuries when he was struck by car at Castle Meadows off the Skehard road just before 4pm on Monday.
Zac was rushed to Cork University Hospital and was later transferred to Temple Street where he remains in an induced coma.
Garda investigations are continuing
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM, Zac's mother Aisling Higgins says she's praying he'll pull through:
