Cork Motorists Travelling To Dublin This Weekend Are Being Advised To Expect Heavy Traffic Delays On The M7

A diversion is in place between Junction 9 and 10
The motorway is closed both ways this weekend between junction 9 Naas North and junction 10 Naas South.
The closure is to allow for the demolition of an overbridge at the new Osberstown interchange.
Drivers will be diverted on to slip roads with a diversion route of less than a kilometre.
Superintendent Oliver Henry, from Naas Garda Station, says there will be extra traffic for sporting events this weekend so they are asking drivers to stick to an advised speed limit of 25 kilometres an hour.
