Cork movie a hit at the box office

The smash hit Cork comedy "The Young Offenders" is proving a bit hit at the box office.
Audiences are continuing to flock to see the movie which has now surpassed €500,000 at the Irish box office.
Just last week, the movie achieved the highest opening for an Irish film at the Republic of Ireland Box Office this year.
The Young Offenders had its' international premiere at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas last week where it was well receieved and has been nominated for the Comedy Features Jury Prize.
The movie was written and directed by Peter Foott from Monkstown.
