Cork Mum Reaches Fundraising Target To Get Sick Twins Treatment

A Cork mother who set out to raise €34,000 in ten days to fund a life-saving operation for her sick twin girls has issued a heartfelt 'thank you'. It comes after a flood of donations helped her reach her target last night. 18-month-old Zoe and Maya Murnane have a rare congenital airway condition. The little girls were operated on at Crumlin Children's Hospital but they can't get follow up treatments here and are due to receive surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London AUDIO: Donnacha O'Callaghan and the Munster Rugby Team rowed in to help Audrey raise the funds and she has been telling Cork's RedFM how that came about.
