Cork Needs Development Of Bigger Better Postal Facility Rather Than Shutting Existing Mail Centre

That's according to Barry Murphy, President of the Cork Council of Trade Unions
Cork needs the development of a bigger better postal facility rather than shutting the doors of the already existing Little Island Mail Centre
Those are the words of Barry Murphy, President of the Cork Council of Trade Unions who also says the existing skilled workers at the centre should be utillised.
240 jobs are to be lost after An Post decided to close the facility, which it says is operating below 25% capacity.
A protest march took place yesterday afternoon on the Grand Parade calling for public support and engagement from An Post.

Speaking to RedFM News, Barry Murphy says the city's infrastructure should be expanded and developed further rather than being outsourced:
