Cork North Central TD Jonathan O'Brien Will Not Stand In The Next General Election

The Sinn Fein TD served the people of Cork for 20 years
He worked as a member of the City Council for 11 years, before becoming a TD for 9.
In a statement issued to RedFM News, Sinn Féin President Mary Lou McDonald thanked the TD for his 'massive contribution to Sinn Féin locally and nationally, and for his twenty years service in public office'.
Jonathan O’Brien becomes the third TD in the Cork North Central constituency to stand down since the last general election.
Fianna Fáil’s Billy Kelleher vacated his seat after he was elected to the European Parliament last year, while Fine Gael’s Dara Murphy left for a role in the European Commission.
