Cork Nurse Doesn't Believe The Trolley Crisis Will Deter People From Entering The Profession

210 people were treated on trolleys at Cork University Hospital this week
Calls were made by the INMO for for a 'major incident' to be declared as well as increased bed capacity and funding while Cork University Hospital called for the immediate addition of 70 medical beds.
The Health Minister has pledged to have 199 new beds in place across the country by the end of the month however the sentiment from staff in Cork is that it's too little too late as patients dignity, privacy and health were all compromised this week in emergency departments full to the brim.
Speaking to RedFM News Cork nurse and INMO representative Michelle Kingston says she hopes the situation won't deter people from entering the profession as they're needed now more than ever:
