Cork Pfizer Staff Defer Strike Action

SIPTU members working in Pfizer plants in Ringaskiddy and Little Island have deferred two planned strike dates.
Workers had planned to stage a 24 hour strike at the Ringaskiddy plant tomorrow and a second stoppage at both plants on the 18th
Both sides have accepted an invitation to discuss the row over changes to the employees pensions schemes at the Workplace Relations Commission
SIPTU members had previously voted to reject a Labour Court recommendation on Pfizer's plans to discontinue a defined benefit pension scheme
