Cork primary schools to benefit from Government grant
Over 350 Cork Primary Schools are set to benefit from a Minor Works Grant.
Minister for Education Richard Bruton, announced €28.5 million would be spent on minor works for schools across the country.
The grant can be used to improve school buildings, to purchase furniture and physical education equipment, and to maintain existing facilities.
A total of 356 schools in Cork will receive the grant in the coming weeks, which is the largest funding allocation outside of Dublin.
