Cork Revenue Officers seize illegal cigarettes
Cigarettes with a retail value of over €200,000 have been seized in Cork by revenue officers
The seizure was made at a commercial premises in the city yesterday where the cigarettes were found concealed inside several mannequins.
In a follow up operation in Skibbereen over 400,000 cigarettes were seized along with a UK registered van.
Two Polish men and one man from Lithuania, all in their 30s, were interviewed and files are being prepared for the DPP.
These seizures are part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the supply and sale of illegal cigarettes.
