Cork roads claim 13 lives
13 people have been killed on Cork roads so far this year. That's down from 17 for the same period last year. However, gardai are expressing serious concerns about driver attitudes as nationally there have been 13 more deaths this year than in 2012. High visibility checkpoints will be mounted across the city and county from tonight until Tuesday morning for the October Bank Holiday Weekend.
