Cork Senator Calls On The City And County Councils To Install CCTV Cameras In Douglas And Carrigaline In 2020

Fine Gael Senator Jerry Buttimer says a recent spike in anti-social behaviour in recent months is a growing concern
He pointed to a three year old scheme for community CCTV, which allows community groups to apply for up to 60% of the total cost of CCTV installation, as well as a one-off payment for maintenance.
Speaking to RedFM News, Senator Jerry Buttimer says both the City and County Councils should work with the government towards making these communities a safer place to live:
