Cork set to benefit hugely from Irish Open

It's expected Cork will see legacy tourism into the future after the region's potential is showcased over the course of the Irish Open. The event is expected to attract 100,000 visitors with an average potential of one in three visitors expected to return at a later date. It's hoped the event will also boost the local economy to the tune of approximately 30 million euro.
