Cork Simon Believes the Housing Action Plan Will Help to Ease the Homeless Crisis

Cork Simon has described the Government's action plan on housing as a "good start".
The charity says that so far this month an average of 15 people a night are sleeping rough in the city with 1 in 8 children now living in consistent poverty...
Child poverty almost doubled during the recession and Cork Simon says the insecurity around their day to day living can lead to greater problems for these children in later life..
