Cork Simon Call On Government To Put Together Real & Tangible Policy on Homelessness

Cork Simon say they want a real and tangible policy to end homelessness following today's Emergency Housing Summit.
It comes as the Government is preparing to unveil their plans to end homelessness shortly.
New figures release by the Housing Department has shown a 20% increase in the number of homeless adults in Cork.
The homeless charity say the number of adults in emergency accommodation Leeside has fallen from 265 to 248, however they say the homeless crisis looks set to continue into the winter season.
It comes as 4 homeless people lost their lives across Ireland in the past week, one of whom was 30 year old Jenny Dennehy from Cork.
