Cork Simon Community launches annual report

19% of those sleeping rough in Cork last year were aged between 19 and 26. Cork Simon Commuity is launching its annual report for 2012 today. It also shows that the county saw the biggest increase in the number of people living on the streets. The organisation is welcoming the government's policy on homelessness which aims to bring an end to the problem by 2016. But Cork Simon is arguing that unless the current level of funding is maintained the target will not be achieved. Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney will officially launch the report at midday.
