Cork Simon say there has been a dramatic increase in child homelessness over the past year

The charity says more and more families are forced into emergency accommodation because of unaffordable rents and lack of social housing
The Department of Housing published the latest figures which show there are 165 children currently homeless in the Cork and Kerry Region - a 98% increase on the same time last year.
Cork Simon says the number of children experiencing homelessness continues to grow with no sign of a solution to the crisis Leeside.
Speaking to RedFM news Paul Sheehan from Cork Simon says the impact of homelessness can affect a child's entire future.
