Cork Simon Struggling To Maintain Services At Day Centre

Cork Simon says they are working with a Day Service that is now too small for demand.

It comes as the homeless charity has reported a significant increase in service users over the past year at their Day Service on Andersons Quay.

Services include a specialist health team, Simon's Rough Sleeper Service, A Youth Homeless Drug Prevention Programme, and an Employment and Training Service.

A new report commissioned by the charity ahead of the winter season has highlighted the need for a much larger site at Andersons Quay to facilitate all the activities that currently operate from there.
